It was about here that C-17 narrator, Capt Tom Phillips, and airshow announcer, Rob Reider, were discussing the fact that the C-17 does not have a wheel / yoke like you might think. In fact it has a stick just like a fighter. To quote Johnny Carson, "I did not know that."
