Just out of curiosity, does anyone know when the static list will be made public? Or actually, is there a number I can contact to make a general inquiry about the performers/static?

Does anybody know the status of the P-38 for the HF? The acc site dropped it a while back but the show site that was updated 10/17 has it. Happy to see a B-52 is listed as doing a flyby.

ACC is showing a P-51 as of today's schedule. I would guess no P-38 will be flying in the HF.

That hurts. Long plane trip for a 3 ship HF. Where's a F-4 when you need one?

The group over at ASB are having a get-together on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. local time. They are meeting for dinner at the buffet restaurant at the Cannery Casino, on Craig Ave., near Nellis AFB. I am sure Fence Check people will be welcome.

Victor:

Sorry you won't be coming to Nellis. I was looking forward to maybe meeting you this year.  Can I ask why you pulled the plug? Was it because of the show downsizing, economic reasons, or something better came along?

The main reason being I lost my job. second in two parts: The downsizing of the show and the media situtation. Third I think I'm burned-out, this year has not been too kind to me, I have a few major publications that have not paid me for images used and the rag I write for is many months late in paying. I'm done for this year, next year I don't know right now.

That sucks Victor, I am in kind of the same boat as you. My health isn't getting much better and I haven't got paid for some work I have done, so don't feel like you are alone Sad

Schedule updated 10/23/08 and now lists red bull p-38. hopefully that means a p-38 in the hf.

Dave, I hope you get your wish, but I doubt it. Not sure who is able to fly the Red Bull P-38, but it would have to be a HF approved pilot and ACC would need to approve funds for it.

Yeah, I checked the acc and no P-38 listed. This and TOM were my "travel" shows for the year, so I'm still hoping for a big show. At least a P-38 will fly sometime during the show.

Hi Guys,

This will be my first time at Aviation Nation and really looking forward to the show.
I am leaving the UK at the end of this week, staying in Palm Springs for a few days and then travelling up to Las Vegas for the Saturday prior to flying hoe to the UK on Sunday.

I was wondering if some of you regulars to the show could give me a quick guide to the best place to aim for on the crowd line when I arrive - any help gratefully received

Many thanks

Dave
