The F-86 is not coming now either.  The annual did not get finished in time.

Sonofapickle!!

Thanks for the info re arrival info.  One more quick question, any ideas as to when the aircraft arrive?  I'm assuming the Thunderbirds will be practicing on Thursday and Friday before like they do other shows.

Normally the Thunderbirds don't practice Thursday. They will arrive most likely sometime in the early afternoon on Thursday and practice Friday afternoon.

Subject to finance etc., the last flyable C-133B may possibly open the show:

It looks like I'll be able to make this show. It's nice to see KTCM having another show.

Will the 123rd FS from Portland IAP be there?

I've been granted  day parole for Saturday.  Dance

Is any spot along the show line better than others?

No F-15's from Oregon.  They're too busy to attend the biggest airshow in the Pac Northwest.

Anywhere along the crowd line is as good as any other.

Mark, I've always found that the far north end of the line is best - partly because it's less crowded, and also for the rotation shots against the mountain. (Which, according to the weather-mongers, should be out!)

I've usually ended up being at the south end of the field.

Would anyone happen to know if they'll have the large speakers out in front of the crowd line again?  I remember the show before '05 they had the speakers behind the crowd and was so happy, but then in '05 they were back out in front, blocking a lot of pictures of the low flybys.  Just curious so I know where to look.

Just three days!! Wohoo!  Anyone else gonna be down at McDonalds on Friday?

I will drive down to McChord in the early morning on Friday. You will see an Asian guy with Canon body plus 100-400L lens. That's me. Smiley

John,

Nice, look for a white guy with a Canon body plus Sigma 50-500mm.  Well, I'll be a little more descriptive, I'll also be wearing my aviators and possibly a photo vest to finish off the look.  Just like flying an airplane, half the battle is jut looking good doing it.  lol  Cool

Dhfrat,

Looks like a kick-butt lineup to me!

Question: how many and what of them will be arrived in the base on Friday in the afternoon? I will be there for the special needs children airshow and hopefully to see many of the arrivals. Smiley
