Mig Fury is no longer coming  Cry
Niether is Steve Cowell in Double Vee Undecided

The loss of the F-100, FJ-4B and MiG-15 will prevent this from being the great jet warbird show that it might have been   Cry, but the F-86 and T-33 will still make it exciting.

I would like to ditto Hazer's comment - it is a great service to put this cancellation information out there as far in advance as possible.  Smiley

Hopefully the next show will be the great jet warbid gathering!  Wink

Uh!  That really stinks, I was looking forward to the Mig Fury Fighters a lot.

Oh well, that stuff happens.  Still looking to be an awesome airshow!  Smiley  Thanks again for the early heads up.

We are entertaining the possibility of having the F-86 and T-33 fly together, maybe even have the MiG-17 join them.  No aerobatics, but cool formation passes.  That's if the budget allows.  Still hoping for more.

We have a CT-114 Tutor coming now too.

Oh yea, hows this for a kicker.  We had a B-52 scheduled to be static, but found out the runway is not wide enough so it had to cancel.

That brings up a good point.  It isn't very often you have to consider runway width.

I guess you wouldn't want a situation like this to happen, now would you?

Poor lights didn't even see it coming.

Just out of curiousity how wide does a runway have to be for a 52?

And McChord doesn't have that? Hmm I figured all AFB's had runways at that width especially ones with C-17's. Learned something new today hahah Huh

That's weird because according to Airnav.com it is 150ft wide: http://www.airnav.com/airport/KTCM Undecided Huh

Ha that is really weird. Perhaps the 52 crew got the width from the little asphault strip next to it or something? Or maybe it has to do with taxiway width? Either that or AirNav is wrong. Hmmm Huh

There are concrete somethings that belong to the arresting cable that intrude into the runway area by about 4 feet, 2 feet on either side of the runway.  Just high enough to be a hazard to the wing tip wheels of a -52.

The F-86 is not coming now either.  The annual did not get finished in time.

Is there any chance of geting the B-52 for flybys for at least one day? After all, they were going to be flying up here anyways.

Less than 2 weeks, can't wait!!
