Just got this email from PAO at KMUO, and thought I would share

“Hi, yes, the 388th ECS is still a detachment from our wing.
They will arrive next spring. I don't have an exact date yet.
There haven't been any final decisions made yet about the 390th FS and
what its role will be or even if it will stay or go somewhere else. Ask
me again later this year and I might know.”

The 388th ECS is an Air Force detachment of EA-6B Prowlers.  So far they have been on a rotational base out of NAS Whidbey Island, but supposable will have a permanent presence at the base next year Grin

Spent the day out at KMUO, and boy were the shooting conditions tough. The first visible heat waves of the year for me, wind; 35 to 40 knots, and a lot of dust.  90% of my photos came out soft and unfocused, but I did manage to get just a handful of descent shots out of it.
