Didn't see a thread for Cirrus (saw Glasair though).
I met the pilot of this very nice Cirrus 22 at the show this weekend.  What a unique control placement it has.

Takeoff

Taxi

I overexposed the heck out of this trying to get alot of motion blur, but I was shooting into the bright sunlight.  I messed with it in PS and for some reason, I kinda like this shot.  I think it made the background trees look kinda like a painting.

What sort of filters do you need for that.....? I've heard of Neutral Density filters, are they what you are looking at or are you planning on being more creative??

Yes, ND filters was my thought there.
Save the overexposing when choosing very slow shutters.

That's the theory anyway....

Thanks Jorgo.  It was a bit of a bummer to shoot into the sun all day.  It really washes alot of stuff out.  Since it was a whole day of props, I took the opportunity to try slower speeds and I used 1/200th or less for most of it.  Of course, I only have a 70-200 so it wasn't extreme zoom.

Let us know your experiences with ND filters. Would be nice to shoot prop blur at 1/30 or less without the aperture being F22 and all the dust on the sensor being visible!!

A nice variant, the Cirrus SR22 Signature Edition Turbo in the Sterling Silver colorscheme.

So I'm at the airport and see a couple of Cirrus planes, nothing wrong with that as we house the main European dealer. That is until they came closer..

N521CD - SR22 GTS Turbo G3

N244CD - SR22 GTS X G3

Funny hadn't heard of that type, so I come home and see the following;
