The guy on his solo needs to FLARE!!!  You land on the mains FIRST, not all three!

Great picture, though.

...Of course your standing on the side of the runway with a big-ass lens must have made him feel pretty comfortable! Wink

I actually talked to him after...he didn't even know we were there.  A bit focused on the task at hand!  (And being the nice person I is I offered him prints of his first landing at only 250 a copy.)    Tongue

Andy--thanks.

Finally someone promps me to come out of the GA closet.  Some people seem to think taking all that money in equipment out to shoot cessnas and cubs is a waste.  I think it's a bit like finding the shy cute chick with no fasion sense and even less confidence that hides in the corner at parties... no one else thinks its worth it to spend any time on them, but if you spend the time and deal with the frustration and endure the ridicule, maybe she'll "bring her gear up early" and "keep it low" for you.

Mooney out of Oceanside.

That student you cought appears to have progressed rapidly.  Just a few weeks earlier he believed he could control the aicraft by pushing and pulling on the dashboard.

And another, with some nice cloudage.

And another, nicely into the sunset.  Amazing what the big lens in low light can do.

And another.  Nice to see some showing off when you've got a good lens rented.  Makes the money worth it.

F1.8 makes GA look like toys... oh wait, they are like toys.
